Our Mission Statement
Scroggins Mill Rural Heritage (SMRH) is a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization based in Lebanon. Its purpose is to preserve a vital part of the agricultural history of Lebanon and surrounding Linn County and to look into the future of agriculture in Linn County and its possible effects on our culture.
The SMRH now owns both the original Scroggins Mill structure and the land on which it sits. With the help of the community, the SMRH is working to restore Scroggins Mill, to showcase our rural heritage, and to demonstrate how that has affected our present culture.
Monthly Meetings, 7pm on second Tuesday at Appletree.
Monthly Mill Work Parties, noon – 4pm on third Saturday at the Mill.
